"Are *All Men* Created Equal?" *Comments*

First of all, I would like to thank all of you who responded to the "Are All Men Created Equal?" report. Gratefully, there were many who saw the work as "definitive" and "relevant" to the low "IQ-Math/Science" achievement problem. There were also those who saw it as "divisive", "isolationist", and potentially harmful to the Black Community. Without naming individuals (note* the identities of individuals and their responses are kept in the strictest confidence and will not be revealed unless by their express written consent) I will say that I received no adverse comments from any of the universities that received copies of the report, as well as from most independent readers. Among the universities selected included: Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, UCBerkeley, Columbia, MIT, U Chicago, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, NYU, Georgetown, Duquesne, Carnegie Mellon, Purdue, Boston, Brown, Mid Tenn U, Vanderbilt, Rutgers, Texas A&M, U Florida, U Washington-Sea, U Michigan-Ann, George Mason, Cambridge and Oxford.

Many papers, books and articles have been written in *failed attempts* to awaken the masses as to the nature and "root" of this problem. Notably, Dr. Richard J. Herrnstein, and Dr. Charles Murray both Harvard Ph.D.'s. who wrote the ill fated "Bell Curve". And also Dr. James Watson, Nobel Laureate and co-originator of the "Genome and DNA structure". These men of science (and others) were ostracized, ridiculed, and (in some cases) threatened with possible punitive damages, loss of tenure and/or respect until they recanted some of the results of their work and observations. It seems there are some things one is not allowed to say. Why? Listen, we are currently only treating the "symptoms" and not the disease, and using remedies that have no chance of curing the real problem which is lower"IQ's", and less than equal math/science proficiency. We are not all the same! Nor should we be! Black People are not from this hemisphere! Would one "loose" a Parakeet in the dead of winter on the Alaskan Tundra and then criticize it for not behaving and surviving like a Snowy Owl? After all, they are *both* birds aren't they? How ridiculous is this idea? This argument goes against more than one law of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The small number of criticisms of this work came mostly from minority individuals who (In my opinion) by prematurely judging do not realize they are participating in the very self "policing action" spoken about in the "Black History Month" section of the "Are All Men Created Equal?" report. The attitudes taken by this group only aid in ensuring that *nothing* will ever change because of the fear of insulting, disrespecting, or ridiculing some members of the Minority Community. (To the delight of *The Man* I might add) Listen, the truth, no matter how unpalatable it may be should not continue to be "sugar-coated". The only embarrassment here is that this was allowed to happen at all! It is my opinion that these criticizing individuals who have nothing to offer but their emotional opinions ought to just quietly sit down and study the problem. History shows that there are uncounted millions of dollars reserved for the purpose of "squashing" all attempts to "lift the veil" and disrupt the "status quo". This malevolent manipulation has effectively worked thus far and sadly, will probably also work to limit this attempt. Educational changes must be demanded and not just weakly requested by leaders. History shows us that these weak leaders will just be ignored because It is not in "their" (the power structure's) best self interest to aggressively fix a problem that is not theirs and benefits them as is. According to many Whites, Black People already "steal" too many of their sons and daughters away for marriage and/or intercourse. It is extremely naive to think that they want to make them even more attractive than they are by drastically improving their overall condition by increasing their per capita educational prowess to world-class status. No one here is questioning or attempting to demean anyone's humanity, only the fairness and effectiveness of the methods used in their educational processes. This is science, not racism. In view of all the scientific information currently available, continuing to act as though there is no problem or no difference is unconscionable and only leads us to where we have been on this issue for decades, nowhere. Let's stop feeding these time consuming, expensive, resultless mind games. Recent High School graduation rates for African American Children in some major cities are as low as 30%, with math and science proficiency considerably lower than that.

I started this "examination" of the educational "status quo" last year. Recently, there has been a sort of "educational renaissance" going on in this country directed at African American children. This is wonderful, but keep in mind that most of the progress and advancements achieved thus far have been from comparisons to other African American students across the country who are not on the same program. We must not be fooled or tricked by this type of progress! These educational advancements must be shown to be factual and stable when compared to the educational levels of White and Asian students.

I repeat: Until this Community realizes that's it's salvation is in it's own hands and not in the hands of others and admits that there is a basic problem needing educational adjustment, the victims of this farce (especially young African Americans) will continue on in their present role, and in their present position at the very bottom of the "Pecking Order" ad infinitum! (with all the *negative events* attached to the problem). This choice should not continue to be made by those outside the Community, but by the Community itself. Are we up to the task? Thank you again for your time.

*Note* If any of you did not receive a copy of the "Are All Men Created Equal?" report, or to request another copy please write.

All The Best,
