*The Interracial Inquisition*
Greetings. It is good to be with you again. What if my boyfriend/girlfriend/husband or wife is another race? “Have I done something wrong?” We have a ‘highly controversial’ subject to deal with this morning. As you probably know, I’m a scientist. That being said, I don’t think the ‘interracial’ part is good science. Many people of today think they are smarter than they actually are. Super intelligence might not be a good thing in every situation. For instance, we look for differences in people where there really isn’t much. Today’s cell phones contain more than 1 million times the computing power than the computers that sent Man to the Moon in1969! But in fact, Man’s biological agenda has not changed in over 200,000 years!
Physically (anatomically) we’re all the same species. (Homo sapiens) African-Asian-Caucasian-Indian-Islander, and over 5,000 ethnicities. Biologically speaking, there is no such thing as “Race.” In ‘plotting’ our brain structure analytically, we see the differences we have are mainly Man-manufactured social constructs. But some of us think we are so smart we can compartmentalize or channel love and romance into socially approved packages. But “such is not usually the case” when it comes to ‘interracial relationships.’ In analyzing this subject, Man’s mental development has not kept pace with today’s progressive tolerance. Most people only want to ‘appear’ different, but actually they’re really not, especially the men. (And in the same tired old ways)
All over the world, “Man is obsessed’ with his ‘phallic dimensions.’ As quiet as it’s kept, this proportion rules our daily lives in many ‘quiet, subtle ways.’ This is more prevalent in highly developed societies where Man has the intellect, finances, and education to ‘sit and ponder.’ Man has built his societies defending, controlling, and isolating his female from other males. This practice has not changed. Man’s feelings of ‘insecurity and inadequacy” (whether true or false) has forever ruled his psyche. This ‘imagined’ inferiority really manifests itself when ‘interracial relationships’ move into his ‘neck of the woods.’ And once again, that old insecure feeling and ‘trepidation’ stokes his ‘hidden uncertainties.’ (Although he’d never admit it)
Feelings of guilt, along with sexual fear for wives, daughters, and girlfriends begin to surface. The smarter one is, the more one feels insecure about. (Again, whether true or false) Looking at history: e.g. ‘Slavery’ where the men would pick cotton all day in the ‘blazing sun and then have (imaginary) strong, vigorous ‘sex all night’ struck a ‘foreboding’ nerve in the male ‘ruling class.’ ‘Man’ (regardless of race) has never ‘evolved’ out of the innate fear of having to share his woman (or daughters) with ‘another type’ of Man or race! (What if she likes them?) This is the “real” reason neighborhoods change. Sexual hormones are ‘powerful,’ and nearness to ‘other’ races’ virtually ‘guarantees’ a sexual encounter ‘will soon happen!”
‘Imagined’ dread of ‘phallic inferiority’ has turned ‘tribal’ sensitivity into rampant racial hatred and prejudice for thousands of years! This is the ‘unwritten law’ against integration…’Sexual Fear!’ This can also ruin ‘interracial friendships.’ Because it challenges the prehistoric “Manhood” of the related male ‘ego'. But realistically, this ‘inadequacy’ is not true! The average male Homo sapien species worldwide is sexually comparable to ‘most’ with few exceptions. Educational differences used to exist, but that too, is a ‘thing of the past.’ But when it comes to hate, ‘race’ has no equal! Still, it’s an ungrounded phenomenon.
But why shouldn’t the ‘Unalike’ continue to threaten peace and tranquility? After all, ‘they’ have no opportunity to sit on the ‘Corporate Boards’ of ‘good ole boys’ and make ‘meaningful” decisions about ‘this and that!’ At times it seems all that is left for them to do is create ‘chaos and tumult’ in a society that keeps saying ‘no’ or ‘not today’ to the ‘Unalike.’ ‘Why not’ commit all types of atrocities? With attitudes that have not ‘really’ changed in the last 200 years, ‘what difference will it make?’ Realistically, there is little ‘equal opportunity’ for this man. “Wrong attitude!” Keep trying, things will change. But caution, ‘financial gain’ may be the only objective of his ‘pseudo’ sexual prowess. (Caveat emptor)
This may seem “a bit crass” to the law-abiding average citizen just trying to “make it’ through hard work. But if you were in the same shoes with the same general lack of opportunity, ‘what would you do?’ Coping with the “desires of life” with less than equal opportunity can be tough. More diversified employment should be developed for the unfortunate. In closing, we here at *Tartt’s Scientific Approach* want to commend all interracial couples. Those courageous enough due to love, pregnancy, (or both) who have chosen to stay together and weather the storms of ‘ignorance and hate’ put upon them by an ‘inconsiderate, irrational’ public.
Scientifically, “Racial intolerance” makes no biologic sense at all. The only real differences we can find between the Homo sapiens species is one’s indigenous environmental ‘upbringing’ and daily habits. That’s it! Most are hard-working, decent citizens. Why not just “leave it at that?” But underneath it all, still lies that sneaky, paralyzing proclivity: ‘Man’s Insecurity!’ And that seems to take ‘precedence’ over everything! But at least, ‘now you know why!’ Stay well
